Check update methods and usage procedures at a glance. Follow the necessary information to use them easily and accurately.
Are you using Kia Connect? The update will be automatically downloaded to your vehicle.
However, depending on the network conditions and vehicle status, the time when the download reaches the vehicle may vary.
Please prepare a USB driver stick. A capacity of 32GB or more is recommended.

Installing Navigation Updater
Install the program compatible with your operating system:
Use [Check for available software updates] on the home screen to find the latest software for your vehicle.
  1. Use [Check for available software updates] on the home screen to find the latest software for your vehicle.
  2. Have you found your vehicle? Click the [Download] button to launch the installed Navigation Updater.
Download the update files via Navigation Updater.
  1. If your vehicle is selected, please click the [Confirm] button. If an incorrect item is selected, please click the download button on the webpage again.
  2. Select the save location, then click the [Confirm] button.
  3. Check the download progress.
  4. Once the download is complete, select [USB] to transfer the update files to the removable storage device.
    If the files were downloaded directly to the removable storage device, proceed to the next step immediately.
Connect the removable storage device to the vehicle to update the navigation software.
Check that the vehicle's battery is sufficiently charged to prevent the navigation system from shutting down during the update.
  1. Connect the removable storage (USB driver or SD Card) to the vehicle.
  2. From the navigation's main menu, go to [Settings] > [General] > [SW Info/Update] tab, then select [Update].
