How Kia handles personal data
Kia takes the privacy of your information serious. Our Privacy Policy below explains how we will collect and use the information you give us. We may vary this policy from time to time and the current version will be that published on this site. The word 'we', 'us' or 'our' refers to Kia, unless otherwise indicated.

When you visit our website for informational reasons, i.e. without registering for any of our provided services and without providing us with personal data in any other form, we automatically collect your access data and server log files (IP address, date and time of your access, which pages on our website you visited, including the notification if access was successful, the volume of transferred data, the referrer URL of your previously visited website and your used browser type and version). These personal data are necessary in order to provide you with our website and to ensure system stability and efficiency and to implement proper safeguards as to the security of our website and services.
The personal data automatically collected is necessary to provide the website Article 6 sec. 1 sent. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest) with regards to our use of technical information to enhance our systems, make your usage of the websites more convenient or ensure the security of our websites. This is based on our legitimate interest as the data used for these purposes are stored for a limited period and do not allow us to personally identify a user.
Personal data that is collected is deleted automatically after the above mentioned purposes are fulfilled.
